Kattenberg Recording proudly released their two latest CD's last November in their hometown Borgerhout. Flemings in Spain, the second CD of Quadrivium as well as the Goldberg Variations of Bach in a transcription for recorder and harpsichord were presented.

Quadrivium has recorded a new CD in november 2012, together with tenor Jan Van Elsacker and vieille player Maaike Boekholt. This CD, together with others will be released in 2013. We'll be posting soon which other releases will be coming up.

- Janpieter Biesemans retrospective: an overview of the repertoire of composer Biesemans, with 10 soloists + an orchestra! Includes a world premier recorder concerto among others.

In November 09 Kattenberg Recordings made a recording honoring the Flemish composer Janpieter Biesemans.

Kattenberg Recordings closed a deal for distribution in the Benelux. The company Lavial insures that CD's from Kattenberg Recordings will be available in record stores where classical CD's are being sold.

La Cause est Amer (the cause is bitterness / love), but the result is great delicacy and exquisite poetry: don't hesitate to treat yourself to an hour of courtly love in the company of ensemble Quadrivium.

Wednesday, April 15th:Today, Flemish classical radio station Klara had a first interview with Geert Van Gele regarding Kattenberg Recordings in the program "Brede Opklaringen". Next week more attention will be given:
Mondag April 20: An hour long program in the evening during the program "Orlando"
Friday, April 24: Interview around noontime in the program "Ramblas".

On March 21, the new record company 'Kattenberg Recordings' had its release party in the magnificent town hall of Borgerhout-Antwerp (BE). Three ensembles gave a showcase on their new CD's: Quadrivium with their CD La cause est Amer; Duo Van Gele - Taylor with their CD Greensleeves, and Geert Van Gele with his first Bach solo CD, Cello Suites I-III. The evening was coordinated by Fred Brouwers, the face (and voice) of Flanders' classical music station Klara. About 100 people attended the party! View photos.
